Born from a challenge that a manufacturer of agricultural machinery, Ferruccio Lamborghini, intended to launch to Enzo Ferrari and his grand tourers, Lamborghini has since its dawn proven to be much more than a simple settling of scores between two exuberant industrialists. Not only because it has always built all its own cars, without resorting (unlike many elite manufacturers) to third-party engines, but also because it has been able to innovate in style and technology, starting almost immediately with the extraordinary Miura and continuing to amaze to this day.
