Description

The coin is dedicated to the 150th Anniversary of the birth of Agostino Levanzin. The obverse depicts Agostino Levanzin surrounded by the inscription "AGOSTINO LEVANZIN - LAWYER - AUTHOR - ACTIVIST". Also included in the design are the dates "1872-1955" and the denomination "10 EURO". The reverse of the commemorative coin features the official coat of arms of Malta and the year of issue "2022".

Agostino Levanzin is known for his scientific work on fasting. He worked as a philosophy professor in the United States where he acquired a certain academic reputation, mainly through the publication of articles and books.
