REVERSE: in the forefront, a square stone tile bearing a medieval inscription, standing at the entrance of a niche where documents regarding the institution of the University were preserved. Above, the dates "1308" and "2008"; below the letter "R", the value "EURO 10" and the name of the artist "L. DE SIMONI"; on the left and on the right, the respective wordings "UNIVERSITÀ" and "DI PERUGIA".
