To celebrate the 70th year of the reign of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, this year the Royal Mint together with artist Timothy Noad have created a unique reverse to honor the Platinum Jubilee commemorating the extraordinary long reign of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II II. On the obverse of the 2022 gold sovereign we find the most recent face of Elizabeth II designed by Jody Clark, engraver of the Royal Mint.

This Sovereign is blister sealed directly from the Royal Mint.
