The legend and the levity of Valentino Rossi are appropriately celebrated in this book. The narrative thread is provided by the cartoons published from 1996 by Nico Cereghini, a former rider and a motorcycling journalist: vignettes taking an ironic look at Valentino and his sidekicks, from Biaggi through to Màrquez. 40 in total, accompanying 40 chapters written by the same author, contextualising the events that inspired them and unrolling Ross’s life story. The focus of this book concentrates on the early part of Valentino’s long career, when his extraordinary legend was forged and consolidated.
